I left Aromas CA and made it to Salton Sea in two days, about 480 miles. Some of you could do this in one day but it was hard, for me, to drive this beast that far in two days. I wanted to get to where I would be, in winter, if I had been doing this for awhile, down south like the other snow birds. I am where to start. From now on, I will be making shorter legs along my path to adventure. Tomorrow I will post pictures of the Salton Sea.

WOW!! You finally made it! Have you seen any signs yet that say "don't drink the water"? Watch out for Stormy ------- weather. We hear she hangs out there occasionally. Are you missing the Butt Head and his wife yet? How long do you plan to stay there? Is there a store nearby where you can stock up on pizza and all of them good things? We are still living the good life in the country and the 'rust' years. Gotta hit the sack. I'm old.
