Worst Stay Yet

The stay here at Bushay Recreation Area is the worst I have been.  It’s a beautiful campground except a group came in and was loud until after midnight.  Yapping dog, screaming kids, loud talk and laughter until midnight (quiet time starts at 10:00).  I can hardly wait to get out of here.  I would rather be at a truck stop!

Klamath River

I left Klamath River RV Park, Klamath CA, after a week with full hook-ups.  I had enjoyed a quiet, relaxing, beautiful stay.  I was going to post from there but the Verizon signal was too weak and I couldn’t get any use from the park’s WIFI.  I’m now at Stafford RV Park, Scotia CA.  I’ll be leaving tomorrow for Bushay Recreation Area, Ukiah, then to Delta Shore Resort, Isleton, and then to Aromas CA, were I started from back in March!  After a month there it should be cool enough to head to the desert.

Fairgrounds RV Park

I’m now at Douglas County Fairgrounds RV Park, with electric and water hook-ups.  I’ll be here for 2 nights.  Tomorrow I’m headed for Klamath River RV Park in Klamath, CA; I’ll be there for a week with full hook-ups.  Today I tightened the fan belts, hopefully that will fix the squealing.  I was having problems with my new water heater and Wave catalytic heater staying lit and so I stopped by Lassen RV on my way here and picked up a new propane regulator ($35.00) thinking that may be the problem.  I was right; now both heaters work like they should.
