Until Later - Steven
OK, not fare to call my blog “Steven’s RV Adventures” and have nothing here about my travels. So, I’m going to stop posting daily until I’m on the road. I will still respond to comments and the contact form. If you leave a message on the contact form, I will let you know, by email, when I hit the road.

I studied and researched until my head hurt and decided on a TiVo Roamio HD DVR for recording over the air programming. It will cost about $15 per month for the guide info but that is a whole lot less than the $100+ I have been paying for Satellite television. Not as much to watch, but that’s a good thing.
Went grocery shopping today. I’ve been juicing my dinner for quite some time now. Juicing allows one to consume a lot more vegetables. Green Power!
I’m considering on canning my satellite television and ordering a DVR for over the air television. Satellite television is too expensive and most of the programming is junk. When I bought the self pointing dish antennas for internet and television, I felt I was investing into the future. I would be getting HD television free over the air and fast internet from Verizon which would make the expensive self pointers dead weight, oh well. Satellite internet is something I may go back to, though, when I hit the road because it will work no matter where I am. Or maybe I’ll get a sat phone. A sat phone can be used for talk and data, no matter where I’m calling from! The sat phone data speed is slow but I would only need it when I need to make a post from way out in the boonies.
I just got off the phone to Wells Fargo where my 401k is at. In order to take money out, I would have to call and they would send a check. I told the representative that won’t work; I’ll be on the road full timing in my motorhome! We laughed and he said I can roll it over to an IRA and I would still have to call, instead of doing it online, but a transfer to my checking can be done. I think it has something to do with the 401k being my past employer’s account, where as the IRA will be mine. I still have to wait for Wells Fargo to receive notice of termination, from my ex-work, but the hard part is done. I don’t like telephones; they give me the heebie jeebies.
What a lazy day. I don’t know what makes for a lazy day. Maybe the warm weather or maybe the name of the day is Sunday. Maybe it’s because I have to get up early tomorrow and go to…wait…I’m retired! I feel great about being retired but I guess it just hasn’t sunk in yet. I did muster up the energy to do laundry.
