Long time no hear from! It’s like I had hit the ground running when I retired. I need to relax and enjoy not going to work. I tend to get lazy, though, when I should be doing something. I dislike just sitting here, in time I will hate it so much that I will get things done quicker. So, stop in once in awhile, this blog will become exciting, I promise.
I straightened up my desk today. It amazes me how much “deal with it later” had built up over the years. Cleaning up this mess was a big step for me; it got my get busy juices going. This is what I have to do for the entire motorhome. When mobile, anything that does not have a place, or tossed on the bed, will end up on the floor. What a mess that would have been! Lots of cable all about, I don’t have a problem with that, the nerd in me I guess. That keyboard sure needs a cleaning; I’ll deal with it later.
I bet you thought that lizard, in the picture last post, was dead. When it finally warmed up today, it took off.
What is it with banks? It’s like they are stuck in the ‘80s. Today I had to snail mail some forms as part of the transfer from my 401k to an IRA. They still require a voided blank check to allow them to deposit my withdrawals into my checking. I haven’t used checks since, well, a long time. This is after spending an hour with them on the phone, earlier this week. It’s pretty bad when an old guy is complaining about the lack of computer use, oh well, enough ranting.
I’m having a hard time getting busy on this motorhome. I did some research and it seems the problem is that I’m looking at the whole thing when I should be looking at bits at a time. It isn’t really that much to do; it just seems like a lot when I look at it all at once. Caulking the leaks in the roof, maybe I’ll tackle that tomorrow.

Well, I decided to continue with posting at the request of many, well one, I’m sure he’s speaking for many. I got my TiVo Roamio HD DVR hooked up and I think I will be happy with it. There are two things I like about it. It records free off the air programs and most of them are HD, my satellite receiver is an older SD.
