This living as a nomad is becoming easier and less stressful. When I need water, I find it. If I need gasoline, propane, dump station or whatever, I find it, not a problem to worry about. If I need a camp, I can find that too. When I need a part for my Gear Vendors, they sent it UPS while I was camped at a park. There is a world all set up for us nomads. Oh, by the way, the Gear Vendors Overdrive unit is now working great.
I went for a walk and did some reading on my Kindle. I went inside to fix my printer and when I came back out I could see that three RVers had just moved into my neighborhood. I’m not complaining, this is public land, besides I’m learning that fellow RVers respect each other’s peace, quiet and privacy. They all parked a good distance from me.
I like it here. The scenery is amazing and I’m all by myself. I’m on BLM land about 20 miles south of Needles CA, I know, I’m back in California. I have already made reservations through RPI for four nights starting 4/3 at Northshore RV Resort, with full hook-ups; I love full hook-ups almost as much as boondocking. They are both wonderful but I yearn for the other by the end of the stay.
Tomorrow morning I’m moving on to my next camp. Well, I don’t know exactly where that will be but the plan is to start traveling north. I will head on to U.S. Highway 95 and then to I-15 and then I think I-80, but that is thinking too far ahead. The idea is to start moving north, toward my South Dakota domicile before it gets too hot down here.
This is a park where owners of Off Road Vehicles play. The managers of this park are very friendly. They are happy to receive my Gear Vendors part and a smart card for my Dish Network receiver.
