I had a hard time getting motivated today, so I fixed myself a second cup of coffee. I carried out a few items to the trailer. The trailer is something I had to haul my Harley in. The Harley is long gone and so now I’m using the trailer to put things, I don’t want, in. Whoever takes the trailer, for free or cheap, is going to have to take whatever is in it. I didn’t get the motivation to go any farther and so I ordered a pizza.
Each day I go for a walk around the property. OK, I didn’t do much today, but it is quite nice here, making it hard to get ready to go, but starting my life on the road is something I have dreamed about and I will do it soon.
Today I cleaned the stove and oven. I was going to clean the whole galley (that’s what we salty RVers call a kitchen) but the stove/oven was enough. It really wasn’t that bad, the oven was hardly used and so all I had to do is clean out the dust. I also vacuumed the flue, mainly because I know a fish oil tablet had rolled in there but I couldn’t find it. Then when I went to clean the oven, there it was, chewed in half. A mouse must have got it out for me. Thanks little guy, I’ll leave extra peanut butter out for you in the tr…, I mean, on the tray.
I went to town and picked up some supplies, at the UPS Store, ordered from Amazon. Since I’m located where I can’t receive US mail, I use a private mail box at the UPS Store. They will receive mail and shipments from any carrier and hold it until I can come and get it. I will keep this service until I change my address to South Dakota. Other than that, I just had a lazy day picking up after that hurricane hit my couch.
Today I cleaned up the Catch All Couch. Over the years, I would through whatever on this poor couch, whenever I had something I didn’t know what to do with. I didn’t always have full hook ups and so things didn’t get so out of hand. I had a rule, if I couldn’t get up and on the road in fifteen minutes; I had to do some straightening up. I’m not a hoarder, just lazy.
